TRIMLESS MADE EASY

A-Line and Powergear track can be trimless with the use of PrecisionPro pre-formed recessed drywall channel. PrecisionPro installs like any other drywall and then the track simply surface mounts into the channel and corner pieces, avoiding the headaches of traditional recessed track systems. PrecisionPro comes standard with a wood backing, or upgrade to a steel backing for added support. Upon order 2 pieces are packed together to ensure the drywall ships safely to the job site.

TRIMLESS TRACK INSTALLATION

Using drywall screws, mount the PrecisionPro drywall panel/channel to the building's frame. A metal backing plate on the drywall provides added support when mounted.

Install drywall around the PrecisionPro drywall. Note: PrecisionPro edges are sloped for easy taping and smooth mudding.

Install the fixture. For downlights use the spring clips or adjustable mounting brackets, depending on the fixture, to hold in place. Track will screw into the drywall as though it is being surface mounted. Be sure the drywall screws go into the integrated metal backing plate.
