Liteline's Aluminum Eggcrate Louvers are engineered to be of the finest quality, offering economy and a wide range of available sizes. The open grid pattern allows air to circulate freely, creating the ideal medium that combines light shielding, air control and aesthetics.
Aluminum louvers are non-flammable, making them perfect for areas where fire codes exist. In addition, the AL (Aluminum) series may be easily installed under sprinklers as a result of the open grid system.

Specifications
Aluminum louvers are manufactured by Liteline Corporation. They provide 45° shielding, with cell sizes of 1/2” x 1/2” x 1/2” (AL50), 3/4” x 3/4” x 3/4” (AL75), 1” x 1” x 1” (AL100). These louvers are fabricated utilizing the “cold weld” bonding method, to insure that every integral, rattle-free panel. This also insures precise alignment of the louver cells. Nominal panel dimensions are 4’ x 8‘, 4’ x 4’, 2 1/2’ x 5’, 2’ x 4’. The standard louver finish shall be baked white enamel.

Coefficients of utilization were computed on the zonal cavity method, based on 1/2” x 1/2” x 1/2” white louver with 4 F4OT12-RS lamp (3100 lumens each). Data based on lamp spacing 5 1/2” x 4 1/2” x 5 1/2” in a 2’ x 4’ luminaire.
1. Luminous ceiling installations are based on a single fluorescent lamps on 1’-0” centres and 9” above louver panel, using multiplying factor .90.
2. Multiplying factors for the other louvers are as follows: 3/4” cell-1.12, 1” cell-1.25, 1.5” cell-1.32, 2” cell-1.40 (baked white enamel finish).
